Seduction as a Skill

Chen Lizra’s power of seduction talk begins with a sensual dance routine. Lizra does so in order to get the audience to “feel” the seduction. She then goes on to address the negative connotations that are associated with the word; namely, that it’s a dishonest, often sexual form of manipulation. But Lizra asserts that seduction, like money, is not inherently bad; it all depends on how you use it. She maintains that seduction can be utilized as a positive asset and skill set in the workforce.

Specifically, Lizra examines Cuban culture in order to reduce seduction to an almost-formula (despite the fact that she emphasizes it’s more of an art than a science). Lizra’s recipe for seduction includes desire, which entails keeping the ‘maybe’ alive and fueling it with desire, confidence, body language as a form of communication and activating arousal.

Using these elements allows individuals to build connections in order to get what they want.
