The science behind feelings, emotions and human behavior related to one's emotional state are some of the topics discussed throughout these emotional intelligence keynotes.

Speaker Chip Conley provides his audiences with an actual equation to apply when experiencing an emotional problem or dilemma. By stepping back and identifying the variables -- such as anxiety and what it is that could be contributing to it -- an individual can also identify what is helping the situation and give them coping mechanisms. While it seems rather straightforward, Conley argues that many people make emotions much more complicated than they are in reality.

Dr. J.P. Pawliw-Fry, the President of the Institute for Health and Human Potential believes that CEOs, leaders and managers need to be especially self-aware and understanding that emotions have a significant influence on the ways opinions are formed and the ways things are perceived.
