These Globalization Presentations Explore New Impacts

— September 25, 2013 —
These globalization presentations dive into the ways the world has become smaller and more connected than ever before. Many of these speeches discuss the ways social media has sped up the entire process of globalization. These presentations also touch on both the negative and positive impacts experienced by groups of people all over the world.

One of the most memorable speeches comes from Alex Tabarrok who argues in favor of one large world market. He believes that the existence of one market for the entire world would save millions of lives. According to Tabarrok, ideas aren't becoming reality enough and he believes that one market would contribute to solving this as it would create a more level playing field.

Daniel Altman suggests that the role of the middleman -- lawyers and translators -- is becoming much more important with the continued increase of globalization. He suggests that these occupations are required to ensure world business transactions are processed accurately and legally. Overseas business essentially relies on the middleman, according to Altman.

These globalization presentations explore the growing effects of our shrinking world.
