Daniel H. Pink

Daniel H. Pink's keynotes reveal his business-oriented mode of thinking. Pink is the author of five best-selling books, his most notable being the provocative business tomes 'Whole New Mind' and 'Drive.'

In a 'Whole New Mind,' Pink explores modern economics and right-brain thinking, suggesting six skills that individuals and organizations would benefit from learning in this automated day and age. In 'Drive,' Pink applies concepts derived from behavioral science to disprove conventional wisdom about motivation and establish a more effective route to higher performance. Overall, his books have been translated into 34 languages and sold more than two million copies worldwide. In 2013, Pink was named as one of Thinkers 50's 'Top 15 Business Thinkers.'

Before becoming a best-selling author, Pink obtained his BA from Northwestern University and JD from Yale Law School. Since then, he has achieved honorary degrees from the Pratt Institute, Ringling College of Art and Design and Westfield State University. Pink has previously worked in the White House, where he served as Vice President Al Gore's chief speechwriter from 1995 to 1997.
