Glennon Doyle Melton's speaking career began after a lengthy battle with drug addiction, alcoholism and bulimia. After getting sober, Melton authored 'Carry On, Warrior,' and launched the website Momastery, a personal blog that advocates truth tellers and hope spreaders. She later founded Monkee See, Monkee Do, an charitable organization born out of momastery.com that works to satisfy community needs with a focus on parents.
Melton speaks about her own experiences in a variety of different settings. Her amazing story and her philanthropic contributions have been featured on programs such as The Today Show, The Talk, Ladies Home Journal, American Baby and Parents Magazine. Doyle's work is extremely positive; she draws from her own experience to help others accept themselves.
