Paul Pholeros is an Australian architect, a co-director of Healthabitat and a keynote speaker. He attended the University of Sydney where he received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Architecture. He also taught there as a professor of architecture. Pholeros ran his own architectural practice in 1984 called 'Paul Pholeros Architects.'
Paul Pholeros is best known for his reducing poverty keynote and his commitment to improving health and living conditions in poor indigenous communities. He has been working to fight poverty for over 30 years both in and out of Australia.
Pholeros' firm was given the international UN Habitat and Building and Social Housing Foundation's World Habitat Award in 2011 and a Leadership in Sustainability award from the Australian Institute of Architects.
