Robert A.M. Stern is an architect who gives speeches to students and audiences regularly about architecture. Stern is also currently the Dean of the Yale University School of Architecture. Stern's architectural works are considered by most to be postmodern.
Stern has a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a master's degree from Yale University. He began his career in architecture working as a designer for a firm called Richard Meier. He eventually formed his own firm with a partner called Stern and Hagmann. After that, Stern formed a firm by himself, called Robert A. M. Stern Architects.
