Infrastructure Engineer, Chairman at Qatar National Food Security Program
Fahad Al-Attiya's keynotes focus on the energy and infrastructure needs of Qatar, a small rich country in the Middle East.
Prior to holding his position with the National Food Security Program as Chairman, Al-Attiya earned a law degree at the University of Westminster and served in the Royal Military Academy.
Al-Attiya is at the head of Qatar's energy crisis and along with his colleagues have devised a plan to use water desalination to turn salt water into a sustainable source of fresh water.
Al-Attiya was born in Qatar as was his father who he credits as part of the generation that changed the country forever.
