Hope for the Future

Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage shares his experiences as a struggling graduate actor in his commencement speech for Bennington College. He encourages the graduating class of his Alma mater to strive for their dreams, however difficult they may be. He talks about taking a job he hated so he could afford a flat and slowly worked his way through low-paying acting jobs until he had made it as a Hollywood actor.

Peter Dinklage’s commencement speech encourages the graduates to stay connected with their friends and loved ones and to "raise the rest of your life to meet you." Dinklage also tells the graduating students to be confident in themselves while also being frank and funny about his poverty and difficulties when he first started out as an actor.
