Speaker Edward Norton is an actor, producer, screenwriter and film director. After graduating high school, Norton attended and graduated from Yale University. While there, he took part in activities such as rowing and acting in some of the school's productions. He received a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in History.
After graduating, Norton acted as a consultant for his grandfather's company, Enterprise Community Partners, which was in Japan. Then Norton moved to New York to pursue acting. He began his career doing Off-Broadway theater. Norton did his first film in 1996. He has since been in over 25 films, and has done some voice acting for shows like The Simpsons.
With his wife, and the founders of Moosejaw, Norton founded Crowdrise, a site that uses crowd-sourcing for fundraising.
